RENNTECH TO MOD BENTLEYS
MERCEDES TUNER EXPANDS TO INCLUDE BRITISH BRAND
Lake Park, FL
RENNtech, one of the word’s leading Mercedes tuners, has announced they will now be offering their tuning services for late model Bentleys.
The first product RENNtech is offering Bentley owners is an ECU tuning package that pumps horsepower from 552 hp to 625 hp and torque from 480 ft-lbs to 565 ft-lbs. The package only makes slightly more power than the Bentley GT SPEED and is therefore aimed at past model years and “regular” Continental GTs. Also, the RENNtech ECU is available for the Flying Spur and GTC – of which there are no SPEED editions yet offered. The RENNtech press release also points out that their ECU tuning retails for $6,400 and doesn’t come with a waiting list or dealer markup.
In addition to the ECU upgrade the Florida-based Mercedes tuner is also offering a digital lowering module for $1,400, which constantly communicates with the factory computer, rather than tricking it. This lowering module will allow owners to set the car’s ride height up to 50 mm lower than stock with eight levels of adjustability. As well, the front and rear suspension can be adjusted independently.
The slow release of new products is a calculated strategy to ensure maximum quality says RENNtech president Hartmut Feyhl. "We want to be sure that these products meet the high standard set by RENNtech Mercedes products, which is very high."
In the future, expect to see more RENNtech products for Bentley vehicles, as well as for vehicles from other manufacturers as the company continues its slow growth strategy.
